To increase personal effectiveness by improving personal organisation skills and considering where we lose time.
Content
Developing a personal sense of time - why things ‘go wrong’
Using a time log to ascertain current use of time
Understanding our own personal ‘drivers’
Identifying and establishing key work areas
Making proper use of the ‘best time of the day’
Controlling interruptions
Overcoming procrastination and other time management techniques
Organising an efficient workspace
Getting started with a new approach
There is preparatory work to complete prior to attending this course and specific problem areas are reviewed. A personal action plan is completed for implementation back at work.
